The third section of the Central Ring Road (CRR-3), almost 106 km long, was opened on November 1, 2020, which connected the highways M-11 (Moscow - St. Petersburg) and M-7 (Moscow - Ufa). Over 5 km of composite railings manufactured by NCC were installed along the whole section. 3 km of them were installed on the longest bridge in the European part of Russia - the bridge over the canal named after Moscow. Also 2.8 km of composite drainage systems (trays) produced by NCC were installed on the bridge.

"Construction of the Central Ring Road is the most important project for our company. The team of NCC faced the task to produce and install a large volume of products in the shortest possible time, according to the strict requirements of the customer. This was possible thanks to the use of modern technological solutions - both in terms of railings, and drainage trays. We have significantly modernized and increased production, which allowed not only to complete the project in the shortest possible time, but also to create additional jobs. Due to the use of hot pressing technology, the production cycle of a standard product was reduced by 8 times. It should be noted that every year our products are becoming more and more popular among customers, designers and operating organizations. High quality combined with manufacturability and simplicity of installation make it being demanded throughout the Russian Federation" - commented Alexey Rannev, СEO of LLC "NCC".

Composite railings are traditionally used as a replacement for metal ones on bridges and overpasses. Unlike metal railings, composite railings NCC have a number of significant advantages: low weight, corrosion resistance, the actual absence of maintenance costs during operation, durability and simplicity of replacement of structural elements. Composite rails are also an alternative to traditional concrete or metal water drainage systems and have all the advantages mentioned above.

Nanotechnology Center for Composites (NCC) today is a leading player in the market of composites, carrying out the full cycle of development and production of products from polymer composite materials: design and strength calculations, material development, tooling production, prototyping, testing and certification. The basis of the NCC assortment is formed by: external reinforcement system CarbonWrap, composite railings and drainage systems, composite profiles, mobile road surfaces, sprinklers and water traps for cooling towers, protective cases for gas pipelines, as well as a wide range of products made of fiberglass and carbon fiberglass, made according to individual orders.
