Fiber in concrete and asphalt
Definition:
Fibre is a filament used for dispersal reinforcement of concrete, gas and foam concrete, polystyrene concrete, also added to building mortar, dry building mixes, etc.
Advantages:
- improvement of mechanical properties of concretes, improving crack resistance, shock and wear resistance, tensile strength and flexural strength
 - increase of structures durability
 - the possibility of reducing the working sections of structures
 - reduce the consumption and in some cases complete refusal from bar reinforcement
 - reduce rutting by 2 times
 - increase compressive resistance at 50°C from 30% to 80%
 - increase water resistance up to 50%
 - improvement of shear-resistance according to internal-friction coefficient by 10%-20%
