NCC implemented one more project for the introduction of supports from composite materials of overhead power lines in the Far East of Russia.

On the 27th of October, 2017 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Southern Sakhalin) were installed Power line composite poles, produced by NCC. NCC developed and supplied composite supports (stress class 6-10 kW) to PJSC Sakhalinenergo.

At the end of august 2017, composite supports, supplied by NCC, were used for repair work of VL-6kW and 3l-Us-6, in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Southern Sakhalin). Sakhalinenergo specialists noted the simplicity of the process of assembling composite supports.

Composite products are lighter, that makes the assembly process a lot easier and faster, it also reduces transportation costs. Due to the useful life of Power line composite poles serve several times longer than traditional ones, the total costs during the life cycle of their operation are significantly reduced.
